Mission:
|
|
Thanks
for checking out our special t-shirt business! Our goals are to
provide you with the means to express yourself in a unique, if not
humorous, way and to look good doing it. We want you to turn
heads, get the girl/guy, have good times, and all that other stuff we
can't fully communicate to you without TV and print ad campaigns
featuring alcohol and scantly clad models.
Summary: Bringing joy and coolness to the world at large.

A
Tall Tale:
|
|
So
what's our story? Well, for starters, there's just one of "us"
right now. Me. Brian. The guy at the key board.
Why then, am I constantly saying things like "we take your privacy very
seriously" or "we like long
walks on the beach?" Well, it's an illusion, really. It
somehow all seems much more official and professional for there to be
loads of "us" running around designing awesome t-shirts and running the
warehouse and drinking and sleeping on the job, than just, well, just
me drinking and sleeping on the job. Besides, sooner or later I'm
going to have to hire some of my friends to come in and cook the books
or something, and then it will be
"us" and I'll only have to change this one little part of the
site. I'm so smart.
In any case, this whole thing started a couple years ago in college
when I started designing shirts instead of doing my graphic design
homework. In its brief history the company has
thus far earned zero American Dollars but was
offered sexual favors by a vagrant in exchange for one of the
stylish "Smitten with Michigan" T-shirts.
The name "Diamondhawk" was created mostly by chance. But it was
agreed that cool-looking logos could be derived from it and that since
the name itself was only partly stupid and the brain-trust involved was
mostly lazy that the name would be a sufficient banner for bringing joy
and coolness to the world at large.
I hope this was everything you dreamed it would be when you clicked
that dastardly little link. :)

A
Tale of Two T-shirts: |
|
It
almost slipped my mind, Diamondhawk has a little sister site, the
loveable and charismatic, Rogue Rube.
RogueRube sells fun and one of a kind t-shirts for runners and track
stars and such. Diamondhawk is rather protective of its little
sister site, so don't try anything...
